Every holiday season, The Salvation Army transforms their gym into a toy shop and stocks it with donated toys for less fortunate children. The children and their parents can walk through a select a toy of their choice.
After the success of last year’s toy collection, we will be hosting our own toy drive so the entire community can get involved.
From now until December 18th, we will be collecting toys at our headquarters from members of the community.
For every donation of five dollars in toys, we will give you a certificate taking $100 off your next flooring purchase. All of the donations collected will be turned in on the 19th, and distribution begins on the 21st.
To donate a toy, simply come out to our warehouse at 977 East 14 Mile Road in Troy, Michigan (the Hansons building) and place your donation in the drop box near the front entrance.
Any toys that we collect will go towards the drive that The Salvation Army is having. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives, this is your chance.
Giving is Better than Receiving
Mother Teresa once said, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” To really make an impact this year, we would like to partner with all of you and give all that we can to help families in need.
