Meet Leen Zabalawi, our Choice for an Interior Designer
For any home design ideas you have, our friend Leen Zabalawi is the one you have to talk to. Leen is the owner of Leen Designs at Decorating Den Interiors. She is passionate about interior decorating and walks every client she has through each step of the designing process.
Her mission is to make your home more beautiful than ever before. Whatever your preferences are, she works with them and guarantees you’ll be more than satisfied with the outcome.

We had a short interview with Leen about her passion, and here’s how it went:
The Carpet Guys – What makes you stand out above the rest of your competitors?
Leen – My training, skills, and education. I have a BFA in Interior Design and a diploma in fine arts. I’ve gone through Decorating Den’s training school and lifestyle university, and I’m also an ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) active member.
The Carpet Guys – Have you noticed any trends that people are doing with their homes?
Leen – Great design scheme uses lighter woods. Many people use metals on their furniture and accessories as well, but this is nothing new. Another popular trend this year is “naturally inspired” design. Nature’s designs can best be described as “Wabi-Sabi” which is the Japanese tradition of looking at the beauty of something through its imperfections.
The Carpet Guys – What is your favorite thing about interior design?
Leen – Helping people solve problems by providing solutions. Interior design creates a lifestyle makeover not just to your house or office but to your life. You will feel better once you start living in a well-designed room, therefore improving your lifestyle.
The Carpet Guys – What is interior design to you?
Leen – Turning my passion for interior design into my own business is like a dream come true. While working as a pharmacist, I constantly thought that I was not living my passion. I returned to school for a second degree, this time in interior design. Waking up every morning excited to start working is a sign that I am in the right place career-wise right now.
