The Carpet Guys is locally owned and operated. Our employees, Design Consultants and Installers live, work and play in Michigan. Our owner, Joe Zago, is infamous for saying, “You have to give to get” and The Carpet Guys stand behind him with actions.
Salvation Army – Toy Drive and Back to School Drive
Before Joe Zago started The Carpet Guys, he found himself in need of help. The Salvation Army helped Joe get back on his feet, so he could start the amazing company we have today. Every year The Carpet Guys give back to The Salvation Army by collecting new toys and back to school supplies for local families. There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing you helped a child in need have gifts at Christmas or new clothes for school.
Know Resolve – The Shed
The Carpet Guys have made it their mission to not only support Know Resolve (a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health and preventing youth suicide) but to also provide an outreach program to help children gain work experience. The kids can go to our events and pass out swag in a fun, positive, uplifting environment.
American Red Cross & MIAS – Sound the Alarm
This charity holds a very special place in Joe Zago’s heart. After the loss of his dear friends to a house fire, he and his God Daughter, Mia, have been working closely with the American Red Cross. Joe and Mia help install free smoke detectors in as many homes as possible in Metro Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids. It’s not very often the owner of a company goes to people’s homes and personally installs free smoke detectors for them.
Oakland Family Services – Adopt a Family
The Carpet Guys adopted five Oakland County families in need during the Holidays! The employees banded together to provide everything on each family’s “wish lists.” They went above and beyond providing gift cards to be able to purchase other supplies and household needs.
These are just a few of the amazing things Joe Zago and The Carpet Guys family do for our local communities. If you’re interested in contributing, please see the links below.
